Church Office Closed

October 19^th - 22^nd

The church office will be closed October 19^th–22^nd while staff members are out of town. If anything is needed during this time, please email the Church Office at office@hillsidechurchofgod.org.

Worshiping Together

October 25^th

Children’s Church will not meet October 25^th.  Busy Bags will be available for children in kindergarten–5th grade as families worship together. Nursery care will be available for children from birth through age 5.

October Is Pastor Appreciation Month

Throughout October, let’s encourage Pastor Scott and thank him for the love, prayer, and care he shares with our church family.

A box will be available at the Welcome Center for cards and gifts. A heartfelt note, a favorite memory, or a simple word of encouragement can mean so much!

Please keep our pastor and his family in prayer this month and throughout the year.

Women’s Bible Study — New Study! 

Help Is Here by Max Lucado 

Join the ladies on Mondays from 6:00–8:00 PM at Cameron Quick’s home for Bible study, conversation, and encouragement as we grow together in faith. Come as you are and bring a friend!

Ladies Lunch & Learn Life Group

Every Wednesday  12:00PM - 2:00PM

Bring your own lunch and join us for fellowship, friendship, and time in God’s Word! We’re journeying through the New Testament with The Bible Recap, growing in faith and encouraging one another along the way.
All ladies are welcome! Come enjoy lunch and grow together!

Women’s Ministry Retreat: The Scarlet Cord 

Renewed Minds & Courageous Hearts

Join the church family at Hilton Columbus/Polaris for a weekend of encouragement and connection. The retreat begins Friday at 6:30 PM and concludes Saturday at 2:00 PM.

 Registration is $50 and includes dessert and coffee Friday evening, plus a light breakfast and lunch Saturday. Hotel rooms are $169 per room and may be shared. Sign up outside the church office. 

The next shopping day is October 6th

Blessing Closet 

Reminder and Needs for October

Thank you for supporting the Blessing Closet! To help us serve our community well, please donate only the items listed on the donation board in the lobby. If you have other gently used items to donate, please place them in the Donation Bin located in the parking lot.

To help our volunteers manage donations, please limit donations to three (3) large bags per visit. If you have more than three bags, please contact the church office so our Blessing Closet volunteers can be notified and make arrangements.

Please do not leave donations outside the building. Donations should be placed in the donation bin or brought inside after contacting the church office.
